Restrictions change by destination, carrier and season. This is the working list we check against. If your cargo is not on it, ask us and we will confirm before you pack.

If it goes wrong
Misdeclared cargo is the most common reason a shipment stops moving. Two minutes of honesty at booking saves weeks at a border.
An undeclared restricted item stops the whole consignment, not only that piece. Seized goods are rarely recoverable.
Freight, handling and return costs already incurred remain due even when the cargo is refused at the border.
A consolidated shipment held for inspection delays every other customer on that flight or container.
Insurance does not respond to goods that were prohibited or misdeclared at the point of booking.
Common questions
Narcotics, explosives, ammunition, flammable liquids and gases, corrosives, radioactive material, counterfeit goods, currency and bullion, live animals and human remains cannot be carried on any route.
Lithium batteries and the devices containing them need approval before booking. They must travel on a route and carrier that accepts them, and they must be declared.
The shipment is stopped, and customs or the carrier may seize, destroy or return it. Charges already incurred stay payable, so declare the contents accurately before you book.
